Course Introduction
Terrorist threats may seem like a distant threat, but we have our own run-ins in Singapore. Being a culturally and religiously diverse nation, our long-standing safety is something we do not take for granted. With this training, we teach security professionals to quickly and confidently identify various forms of threats, teaching them the necessary courses of action that should be taken to ensure the safety of their establishment as well as all personnel on the ground.
Course Objective
After successfully completing this RTT security course, the learner will be equipped with the essential knowledge to recognise potentially suspicious situations from person-vehicle-object borne threats at their workplace. The learners will be trained to respond appropriately, quickly and safely to identify the actual threat, report immediately to authorities according to protocol, carry out security procedures, carry out other essential duties, and perform personnel evacuation.
The training will teach learners to effectively deal with needs, expectations and requirements from Management and Authorities. These include the preservation of evidence for the relevant Singapore authorities, enquiries from media and various customer and stakeholder concerns. In addition, the learner will also learn to understand that the Security Officer is employed to Protect People, Property and Asset.
