Course Synopsis
This is a mandatory unit for Senior Security Officer (SS0). The unit will equip learners with essential knowledge and application skills to operate and utilise various security equipment and apply them to their workplace in many ways such as:
- Operate access control equipment
- Operate alarm monitoring equipment
- Operate CCTV monitoring equipment
Course Objective
After successfully completing this unit, the learner will be equipped with important basic knowledge on operating the access control equipment in accordance to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and how to identify and report any unauthorized entries. Learners are also able to learn on adopting basic response action according to the SOPs.
