Course Synopsis:

The unit will equip learners with essential knowledge and application skills in working in a diverse service environment and apply them to the workplace in various ways like shown below:

  1. Recognise the importance of inclusiveness when working in a diverse service environment.
  2. Apply emotional intelligence when interacting with team members and customers in a diverse service environment.
  3. Demonstrate resilience when faced with challenges in a diverse service environment.
  4. Monitor own actions in handling diversity in the diverse service environment.

Course Objective:

After successfully completing this unit, the learner will be equipped with knowledge and application skills that are essential to handle diversity. The learners will be proficient in recognising the importance of inclusiveness, showcasing the use of emotional intelligence and resilience to handle diversity in the service environment and monitor his or her own actions in handling this diversity.
